Listen

Makes sure every point in a long message of feedback gets handled: numbers them, works through them in order, ends with a checklist.

When to use it

When you send your AI several changes or notes in one go and want every single one handled, none skipped or quietly merged.

A real example

This is a real run, in a fresh Claude Code install with only this skill, on 30 Sep 2026. The reply is shortened: […] marks where we cut. Nothing is reworded.

What we asked

Use the listen skill on this feedback about my recipe page: make the title bigger, the photo is blurry, add cooking time, and the ingredients list is in the wrong order, also can the background be less grey. Just list and plan, do not change any files.

What it said back

I found 5 points in your feedback: 1. Make the title bigger 2. The photo is blurry 3. Add cooking time 4. The ingredients list is in the wrong order 5. Background is too grey — make it less grey That's everything I found — let me know if I missed anything […] One thing I need from you: point 4 — what does "wrong order" mean here (order of use in steps, alphabetical, grouping by type)? That'll determine the actual reordering logic when we implement it.

What it can touch

Only the message you send it in that chat. It reorganizes your feedback into a numbered list and works through it in the reply — it doesn't open files, browse the web, or run anything on its own.

Install it

Download listen.zip

In Claude (website or desktop app)

  1. Download the zip below. Keep it zipped: it already holds the listen folder with its SKILL.md inside.
  2. In Claude (the website or the desktop app), go to Customize > Skills, click +, then Create skill, then Upload a skill, and choose the zip.
  3. On the Free, Pro or Max plan, code execution has to be on for skills to work. Turn it on in Settings > Capabilities.
  4. Start a new chat and describe the job. Claude uses the skill when it fits, or you can ask for it by name ("use the listen skill").

In Claude Code

  1. Download the zip below and unzip it. You get a folder called listen.
  2. Move that folder into the .claude/skills folder in your home folder, so you end up with ~/.claude/skills/listen/SKILL.md. (~ means your home folder. Make the skills folder if it isn’t there yet.)
  3. In Claude Code, type /listen to use it, or just describe the job and Claude will pick it when it fits. If it doesn’t show up, start a new session.
