What we collect, and what we don’t

Who runs this site

What we measure, and why

This site is free and funded by someone who wants it to reach people, so we count whether it does. Analytics run through PostHog on European servers.

What we record is deliberately thin:

• That a visit happened, and roughly how far down the guide it got.
• Which section of the guide was reached, so we can see where people stop.
• That someone used the AI demo, and how many characters long their message was, as a number. Not the message itself.
• Which broad category a generated guide fell into, from a fixed list such as writing, cooking or travel.

What we do not record: your IP address, which is switched off at the source rather than collected and discarded. No cookies. No session recordings or replays of what you did on screen. No tracking of you across other websites. No profile that could identify you.

To count returning visits without cookies, we store a random identifier in your browser’s local storage. It is not linked to your name, and not to your email address if you chose to leave one. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What happens to anything you type

When you use the demo on the front page, or generate a practice guide, the text you write is sent to Anthropic so their AI can build your result. There is no way around this: it is how the thing works. It means your words leave this site and are processed on Anthropic’s systems, under their terms.

We do not store what you type. It is not saved to a database here, and as described above it does not go into analytics either. Once your result is on screen, our copy of it is gone.

Practical advice, offered plainly: this is a public demo, so do not paste anything into it you would not be comfortable sending to a company you have no relationship with. Medical results, financial details, anything about other people. The site works perfectly well with a made-up example.

If you leave your email

At the end of the guide there is a single field that asks whether you want to hear when new guides land. It is optional, and the site works exactly the same if you skip it.

If you do fill it in, we send you one email asking you to confirm. Nothing happens until you click that link, so nobody can sign you up without your say. Confirmed addresses are held by Resend, the American company that delivers the emails, and by Upstash, which stores the short-lived confirmation token and the list itself.

We use your address for one thing: a short note when a new guide is out. No drip sequences, no weekly digest, nothing sold or shared. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works with one click, and if you would rather we delete the address outright, write to gustafmpalm@gmail.com and we will.

Things we deliberately do not do

• No accounts, no passwords, no sign-up.
• No payments, so no card details ever reach us.
• No newsletter beyond the optional guide announcements above, and no other email capture anywhere on the site.
• No advertising trackers or third-party ad pixels.
• We do not sell, rent or trade any data. There is no business model here.

How to opt out of being counted

Any browser setting that blocks analytics will work, and we do not try to get around it. Turning on “Do Not Track”, using a content blocker, or browsing privately all stop the counting.

Clearing your site data removes the random identifier described above, and you will be counted as a new visitor if you come back.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law and the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to it being processed, and complain to a regulator.

Being straight about what that means here: apart from an email address you may have chosen to leave, we never collect anything that identifies you, so there is realistically nothing to look up, correct or hand over. That is by design rather than an excuse. If you think we hold something about you, or want your email deleted, write to gustafmpalm@gmail.com and we will do it.

Who else is involved

Five companies handle data on our behalf: Anthropic generates the AI results, PostHog counts visits on European servers, Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived server logs of the kind every web host keeps, and if you leave your email, Resend delivers the messages and Upstash stores the list. The first three are never given anything that identifies you by name; the last two only ever see an email address you chose to give us.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
