About
Learn Magic
A free guide to using AI for real things, for people who have never opened a terminal or written a line of code. Last reviewed 8 October 2026.
Who it is for
Anyone who has heard that AI can do a lot, tried a chat or two, and suspects they are “not technical enough” to go further. You are. The starting line here is a person who has never seen a terminal. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no paywall.
How the guides are made
- They start from what real beginners get stuck on, and from the moments people describe when AI first clicked for them, not from what is easy to explain.
- We watch people who have never done this try it, and change the page where they stall.
- The pages most likely to go stale, like the plain answers, say when their facts about tools were last checked against the tool’s own documentation. When a tool changes, we update the page and the date.
- Answers come first, caveats stay in, and where something costs money the page says so up front.
None of this makes a page perfect. If something is wrong or out of date, we would rather hear it than not.
